ThreadClean for Gmail (the “extension”) and its license server at threadclean.atesensoftware.com are made by Samet Ateşen, trading as Atesen Software, Sakarya, Türkiye (“we”). Contact: support@atesensoftware.com.

Your email stays in your browser

• When you press Export clean PDF, the extension reads the messages of the open Gmail conversation from your own Gmail tab (the same original each message's Download message menu gives) and builds the preview and the PDF on your computer.
• Message contents, addresses, subjects and attachments are never sent to us or to anyone else. The extension does not use the Gmail API and asks for no Google sign-in.
• The conversation is held only in the memory of ThreadClean's preview tab and is gone when you close that tab. The PDF is saved where you choose.

What the extension stores on your computer

• The number of free exports used, your license key once you add one, a random install id (used only to deliver a key you bought from the extension) and your preview settings. This stays in Chrome's extension storage.

What reaches our server

• When you buy: checkout is run by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, under Paddle's privacy notice. Paddle sends our server the transaction id, its Paddle customer id and the random install id you passed from the extension. We store these with your license key to show the key again. That message does not carry your name, e-mail address, card or billing address, and we store none of them.
• After you buy: we send you one plain-text thank-you and getting-started e-mail, through Resend, to the address on your Paddle payment record, which our server reads from Paddle for this purpose only and does not store; we record only the transaction id and whether the message was sent.
• When the extension fetches a key you bought: it sends its random install id to our server, which answers with the key if one exists. The thank-you and support pages send the transaction id the same way.
• Cloudflare, which hosts the server, processes IP addresses for delivery and security. We keep no access logs of our own and use no analytics or advertising cookies.

How long

License records are kept for as long as the license exists, so the key can be shown again; ask us to delete yours at any time. Paddle event ids are deleted after 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of the data we hold about you by writing to support@atesensoftware.com. We do not sell or share data, and we use none of it for advertising, credit or profiling.

Chrome Web Store

ThreadClean's handling of your data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The extension's single purpose is to export the open Gmail conversation as a clean PDF.
